Abby Quinlisk was born in Newburgh, NY in 1994 and decided to venture up to the snowy tundra of Rochester, NY to pursue a degree in Fine Art Photography 18 years later.
She first became fascinated by photography in high school when she took a digital photography class her sophomore year. While she decided the class, in itself, wasn't so interesting the art she was attempting to make was. She continued shooting throughout the rest of her high school career and eventually decided to pursue a career in photography when she was accepted into the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences at Rochester Institute of Technology.
She graduated with a BFA in Professional Photographic Illustration with a concentration in Fine Art in May of 2016. She just recently returned from living abroad in South Korea and now resides in Rochester, NY. She is available for commission upon request.
